London’s bravest fought their way through a wall of fire to save a bunch baby pigs. The owner of the cute swine thanked them with a complimentary meal… made of the baby pigs.

Methinks British firefighters and PETA are about to go to war.
After firefighters saved 18 baby pigs and two grown sows from a blazing fire at a farm at Milton Lilbourne, Wiltshire, in February, last week those same firefighters sat down and consumed a meal that was a thank-you from the farmer: sausages made from the pigs they rescued six months before.
The firefighters had saved 18 baby pigs and two grown sows as the fire consumed 60 tons of hay.
Rachel Rivers, the farmer, held a barbecue last week to celebrate the rescue; she said, “I wanted to thank (the firefighters). I promised them at the time I’d bring down some sausages for them, which they were all pleased about.” Rivers told the BBC, “I gave those animals the best quality of life I could ever give until the time they go to slaughter and they go into the food chain. You do feel sad at the end of it.”
